artOne of the subjects in primary and secondary school level is art. This is a subject wherein a student can fully express his imagination through the given skills to be elaborated. This involves series of materials needed to achieve the said output of the theme. This emphasizes the creativity of the person.

Art is a development of fixing factors relating to the dealt feelings and sensations. It covers a series of human creativity, activities and manner of expression such as film, literature, music, paintings and sculpture. Aesthetics explored the true meaning of Art through the branch of philosophy.

During the early 20th century, the characterization of Art becomes a subject being talked about. According to Richard Wollheim, Art can be classified into three elements: the Realist, in which the Art quality is reliable for the human outlook; the Objectivist, is also an Art quality but reliable for human experience and knowledge; and the Relativist position, not an Art quality but definitely depends on the human knowledge on different individual. An entity can be defined by the human intention, its imagination and creativity, in spite of its main purpose. A mug, its main purpose is a pot, but in Art’s vocabulary it can be defined and described as an ornament, painted to the exact imagination of the human vision.

Talent or expertise was then referred term for Art. During Romantic Era, this description of Art was changed, when Art’s definition was quoted as “special faculty to the human vision classified either in the corner of religion or science”. In general, Art is completed with furnished intentional thoughts and sentiments. As described by Richard Wollheim, the character of Art is the indescribable in traditional human civilization. Art comes in different angles, defined as transportation for communication and expression of feelings through the dealt ideas and – method for exploring, researching and appreciating Art culture and symbols. According to Leo Tolstoy, Art is defined as the mind reversion of an unplanned communication of another individual, which is an expression of guilt feelings or emotions to the other person through Art. And, according to Benedetto Croce and R.G Collingwood, Art is an expression of emotion in which the result of Art concentrates in the thought of the talented Art artist. Immanuel Kant’s philosophy had the theory of Art, which was developed in the early 20th century by Roger Fry and Clive Bell. Aristotle also had a segment of Art representing deep roots in philosophy. In modern times, Martin Heidegger explained and interpreted art as the way of developing self-interpretation and expression through the imaginative mind of the creator.

The person involving himself in the philosophy of Art has what it takes to be the expressive angle of an inventive mind. It needs not much of an expensive material and support; it just requires uniqueness of the creation. It doesn’t need talent but it develops the skill. Art is considered as a formal subject even in the early centuries. These are abilities that need to mature with a combination of willingness to do the elaboration. To comprehend it easier, Art is an expression of the imagination in a humanity outlook.
